How would it work?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>end of list<\/span><\/section>\n<p>A statement accompanying the release said the daily schedules \u201cinclude mentions of possible contact between Jeffrey Epstein and prominent figures like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, and Prince Andrew\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,\u201d Oversight Committee spokesperson Sara Guerrero <a href=\"https:\/\/oversightdemocrats.house.gov\/news\/press-releases\/oversight-democrats-release-third-batch-documents-jeffrey-epstein-estate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said in the statement.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims,\u201d Guerrero said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOversight Democrats will not stop until we identify everyone complicit in Epstein\u2019s heinous crimes. It\u2019s past time for Attorney General [Pam] Bondi to release all the files now,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the documents show that Thiel, a billionaire venture capitalist, and Bannon had \u201cscheduled meetings with Epstein\u201d. There was also mention of a \u201cpending trip\u201d by tech billionaire Musk to Epstein\u2019s infamous island, Little St James, where many women said they were abused.<\/p>\n<p>One calendar entry \u2013 dated December 6, 2014 \u2013 reads: \u201cReminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Also mentioned in the documents is disgraced British royal, Prince Andrew, who was listed as a passenger on Epstein\u2019s private jet in 2000 in a flight from New York to Palm Beach, Florida, along with Epstein\u2019s longtime partner and convicted sex trafficker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/24\/us-justice-department-to-discuss-epstein-with-ghislaine-maxwell\">Ghislaine Maxwell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The daily schedules released on Friday do not indicate whether Epstein\u2019s meetings with Musk, Thiel and Bannon took place, and no accusations of any wrongdoing were levelled against the three men or Prince Andrew.<\/p>\n<p>Referencing a news story about the documents on X, Musk said: \u201cThis is false.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thiel, Bannon and Prince Andrew have yet to comment.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, the British royal settled a US lawsuit brought against him by the late Virginia Giuffre \u2013 a prominent Epstein accuser who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/4\/26\/epstein-prince-andrew-accuser-virginia-giuffre-dies-by-suicide-family\">took her own life<\/a> in April \u2013 accusing him of sexual abuse when she was a teen.<\/p>\n<p>Financial disclosures in the newly released files also showed \u201cpossible evidence\u201d that Epstein made payments to masseuses on behalf of someone named \u201cAndrew\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Oversight Committee said further review of the documents, which were partially redacted to protect the identity of victims and the ongoing investigation, is \u201congoing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein died by suicide in his cell at New York\u2019s Metropolitan Correctional Center in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>His death has become the source of conspiracy theories due to his connections to America\u2019s rich and powerful, including, allegedly, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/9\/24\/satirical-statue-in-dc-notes-long-lasting-bond-between-trump-epstein\">US President Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration\u2019s handling of the Epstein case has only fuelled anger and concern over a cover-up, with the Department of Justice announcing in July it would <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/7\/epstein-no-client-list-died-suicide-justice-department-says\">not publish files from its investigation<\/a>, reneging on earlier promises from Trump and his allies to do so.<\/p>\n<p>In now-deleted posts from June, part of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/6\/6\/what-has-musk-accused-trump-of-in-relation-to-the-epstein-files\">very public rupture<\/a> between Musk and Trump, which appears now to have been resolved, the billionaire X owner claimed the US president was blocking the Epstein files\u2019 release as he featured in them.<\/p>\n<p>The calendar entries released on Friday for Epstein\u2019s purported planned meetings with Musk, Thiel and Bannon referenced periods that came before he was indicted on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019, but after he pleaded guilty to state-level prostitution charges and soliciting prostitution from a minor in 2008.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One calendar entry, dated December 6, 2014, reads: \u201cReminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)\u201d.
