[Victim] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned,\u201d Epstein wrote according to the email, which was shared with the victim\u2019s name redacted.<\/p>\n<p>It is not clear what Epstein was referring to. The email was sent to Maxwell two years after Epstein had spent 13 months in prison for his sex crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell responded, \u201cI have been thinking about that\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another email, sent in 2019, Epstein says Trump \u201cknew about the girls\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"trump-responds\">Trump responds<\/h2>\n<p>Later on Wednesday, Trump dismissed the emails as a \u201choax\u201d without addressing their substance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again because they\u2019ll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they\u2019ve done <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/liveblog\/2025\/11\/12\/trump-live-us-house-returns-to-washington-for-vote-on-government-shutdown\">on the Shutdown<\/a>, and so many other subjects,\u201d he wrote in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>The US president also cautioned members of his Republican Parties against focusing in the emails.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere should be no deflections to Epstein or anything else, and any Republicans involved should be focused only on opening up our Country, and fixing the massive damage caused by the Democrats!\u201d Trump wrote.<\/p>\n<p>White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt also dismissed the emails, saying that they were \u201cselectively released\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u2018unnamed victim\u2019 referenced in these emails is the late <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/4\/26\/epstein-prince-andrew-accuser-virginia-giuffre-dies-by-suicide-family\">Virginia Giuffre<\/a>, who repeatedly said President Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever and \u2018couldn\u2019t have been friendlier\u2019 to her in their limited interactions,\u201d Leavitt said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact remains that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep to his female employees, including Giuffre.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump has previously acknowledged that he had issues with Epstein because the late sex offender recruited \u2013 or as the US president put it, \u201cstole\u201d \u2013 young women who worked at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"this-whole-epstein-class-needs-to-go\">\u2018This whole Epstein class needs to go\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Later on Wednesday, Democratic Ro Khanna expressed outrage at the \u201cabuse culture\u201d that he said rich and powerful figures, including Trump, engaged in \u2013 or at least tolerated \u2013 around the late <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/9\/3\/us-house-committee-releases-over-33000-pages-of-epstein-related-records\">sex offender<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis whole Epstein class needs to go,\u201d Khanna told Breaking Points podcast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe issue in American politics is from left or right is: Are you for working, ordinary Americans? Or are you for this Epstein class? And this is what\u2019s so important about those emails. It\u2019s not just rich and powerful men who may have abused and raped young girls; it\u2019s a lot of rich and powerful people who knew that the abuse was going on and did nothing about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The US president had personal ties to Epstein \u2013 a millionaire who was connected to powerful figures in politics, popular culture, finance and academia \u2013 and later became known for his rampant sex abuse against girls and young women.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein first pled guilty to charges of solicitation of prostitution with a minor in 2008 and was given a lenient sentence that critics describe as a sweetheart deal that did not match the severity of the offence.<\/p>\n<p>After the Miami Herald investigated the prosecution against Epstein, federal authorities reopened the case against him, arrested him and charged him with sex trafficking of minors in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Two months later, he was found dead in his jail cell in New York City. His death was ruled a suicide.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein\u2019s associates included former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, the United Kingdom\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/11\/7\/us-lawmakers-call-on-uks-ex-prince-andrew-to-testify-over-epstein-ties\">Prince Andrew<\/a>, and former US President Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>The scandal and the manner in which Epstein died have fuelled conspiracy theories and speculations that he may have been working for foreign or domestic intelligence services.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"calls-for-releasing-files\">Calls for releasing files<\/h2>\n<p>Some activists \u2013 including many Trump supporters \u2013 have been calling for years for the release of all government documents relating to Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>But the Trump administration has refused to make the so-called Epstein files public, citing the privacy of the victims.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, the Justice Department and FBI also dismissed claims that Epstein may have used his sex trafficking operation to blackmail people who frequented his home and private island, reasserting that he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/31\/pam-bondi-who-is-trumps-attorney-general-handling-the-epstein-files\">died by suicide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this review, we found no basis to revisit the disclosure of those materials and will not permit the release of child pornography,\u201d they said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/7\/epstein-no-client-list-died-suicide-justice-department-says\">in a memo<\/a> in July.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of our highest priorities is combating child exploitation and bringing justice to victims. Perpetuating unfounded theories about Epstein serves neither of those ends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The US president also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/9\/trump-blasts-maga-focus-on-jeffrey-epstein-after-memo-causes-uproar\">scolded commentators<\/a> who are focused on Epstein, calling the issue a \u201cwaste of time\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>But many of the president\u2019s supporters were not satisfied with that explanation, especially after leaks and allegations raised questions about Trump\u2019s own relationship with Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, The Wall Street Journal published what it said was a birthday card with sexual connotations that Trump sent to Epstein with a message written inside of a drawing of a naked woman.<\/p>\n<p>Trump denied writing or drawing the card and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/7\/19\/trump-sues-wall-street-journal-rupert-murdoch-for-10bn-over-epstein-story\">sued the newspaper<\/a> over the allegation.<\/p>\n<p>In June, after former White House billionaire aide <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/6\/6\/what-has-musk-accused-trump-of-in-relation-to-the-epstein-files\">Elon Musk<\/a> fell out with the US president, he said, \u201cthe real reason\u201d Trump has not released the \u201cEpstein files\u201d is that he is mentioned in them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 2011 email sent by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein says that United States President Donald Trump \u201cspent hours\u201d with one of the victims \u2013 an allegation that is likely to further fuel calls for releasing files relating to the late, disgraced financier.
