We know that Iranians are very much worried, not only about the shadow of the war, but also about the element of surprise, even during this ceasefire,\u201d Al Jazeera\u2019s Tohid Asadi reported from Tehran.<\/li>\n<li>Minister of Education Alireza Kazemi has said the government does not have plans to resume \u201cin-person education\u201d at the moment.<\/li>\n<li>The Tasnim News Agency, citing the deputy director of Iran\u2019s Civil Aviation Organisation, said the country\u2019s airspace would be reopened, with flights from east to west established gradually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"war-diplomacy\">War diplomacy<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of the Iranian parliament, said in a televised address on Saturday night that there had been \u201cprogress\u201d with Washington, \u201cbut there are many gaps and some fundamental points remain\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWe are still far from the final discussion,\u201d said Ghalibaf, one of Tehran\u2019s negotiators in the talks aimed at ending the war launched by Israel and the US against Iran.<\/li>\n<li>Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan on Saturday from his visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkiye in advance of an expected second round of US-Iran talks.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Egypt\u2019s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said Cairo and Islamabad hoped to secure a final agreement \u201cin the coming days\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"in-the-us\">In the US<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Trump accused Iran of getting \u201ca little cute\u201d with its recent moves and warned Tehran not to try to \u201cblackmail\u201d Washington by flip-flopping on the strait.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWe have very good conversations going on,\u201d the president told reporters at the White House, adding that Washington was \u201ctaking a tough stand\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>The US military said it forced 23 ships to turn around near the Strait of Hormuz since it imposed a naval blockade of Iranian ports. In a post on X, the Central Command said US forces were still enforcing the blockade \u201cagainst ships entering or exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"in-israel\">In Israel<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Israeli military said another soldier had been killed in combat in southern Lebanon, the second death announced in less than 12 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Israeli forces said they have established a so-called \u201cyellow line\u201d in southern Lebanon, similar to an Israeli military measure in the besieged Gaza Strip.
