Law enforcement agencies are documenting the latest war crimes committed by Russia against the peaceful population of [the] Odesa region,\u201d Kiper said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1821\">Russian attacks killed one person in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1821\">\u201cA 59-year-old man died as a result of an enemy attack on the Zaporizhzhia region,\u201d Fedorov wrote on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"2086\">A Ukrainian drone attack killed an employee at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which was captured by Russian forces and is shut down.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2244\">\u201cA driver was killed today when a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone struck the transport department at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant,\u201d said a statement from plant managers who were installed by Russia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2246\" data-end=\"2411\">Regional governor Fedorov said Russian forces launched 629 strikes across 45 settlements in the region in a single day, with at least 50 reports of damage to homes and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2413\" data-end=\"2604\">Russian officials reported Ukrainian drone attacks in the Belgorod border region, where at least one person was killed and four women injured, alongside damage to buildings and vehicles.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"stalled-diplomatic-efforts\" data-start=\"2413\" data-end=\"2604\">Stalled diplomatic efforts<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2606\" data-end=\"2842\">The attacks come as diplomatic efforts to end the war remain stalled. Donald Trump said on Sunday that he has had \u201cgood conversations\u201d with Presidents Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2844\" data-end=\"2981\">\u201cWe\u2019re working on the Russia situation, Russia and Ukraine, and hopefully we\u2019re going to get it,\u201d Trump said on Fox News.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2983\" data-end=\"3105\">\u201cI do have conversations with him, and I do have conversations with President Zelenskyy, and good conversations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3107\" data-end=\"3297\">\u201cThe hatred between President Putin and President Zelenskyy is ridiculous. It\u2019s crazy. And hate is a bad thing.
