Another person was wounded. These are the consequences of this morning\u2019s enemy attack on Pavlohrad,\u201d Oleksandr Ganzha, the governor of Ukraine\u2019s central Dnipropetrovsk region, said.<\/p>\n<p>Separate Russian attacks on Ukraine\u2019s southern Odesa region killed one person, while strikes on the eastern city of Kramatorsk killed one other, according to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Russian drone attacks late on Thursday killed one person and wounded five others on civilian ships in the Black Sea, Ukraine said.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2026\/6\/15\/russian-attacks-in-ukraine-kill-nine-damage-historic-kyiv-cathedral\">escalated attacks<\/a> on each other in recent weeks, as United States-led talks on ending the more than four-year conflict remain effectively frozen.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"kremlin-acknowledges-ukrainian-attack-on-moscow\">Kremlin acknowledges Ukrainian attack on \u2060Moscow<\/h2>\n<p>The governor of the Moscow region said on Friday that an eight-year-old girl had been killed in \u200ca massive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2026\/6\/18\/ukraine-hits-moscow-refinery-as-zelenskyy-seeks-trump-support-to-end-war\">Ukrainian attack<\/a> that hit the capital and surrounding area a day earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Andrei Vorobyov said, \u201cAt the time of the incident, she was at home with her grandmother, who was unharmed.<\/p>\n<p>The attack, using hundreds of drones, set fire, for the second time in three days, to a large oil refinery in southeast Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndeed, drone attacks continue. Appropriate measures \u200care being \u200ctaken to mitigate the consequences,\u201d Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a briefing with journalists on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if Russia\u2019s President Vladimir Putin had seen footage of the burning refinery, Peskov told reporters they should check out images from Ukrainian cities that Russian forces had struck.<\/p>\n<p>The Kremlin acknowledged the Ukrainian strikes in a briefing with journalists on Friday, but said Moscow\u2019s air defences \u201cwere performing well\u201d and that Moscow\u2019s own strikes on Ukraine were \u201cimpressive\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese strikes [on Ukraine] will continue,\u201d spokesman Peskov said, according to Russian news agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine insists its strikes targeting Russia are fair retaliation for attacks on its own civilians.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine\u2019s \u2060military also\u2060 struck railway bridges in Russian-held \u2060Crimea, Ukraine\u2019s general \u2060staff said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>It said on Telegram that \u200cthe bridges, located in the area of Rozdolne and Vladyslavivka, were \u2060used by Russian \u2060forces to facilitate military transport and \u2060supplies.
