This is just the beginning of his career \u2060\u2060and I really think he\u2019s going to do amazing things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fery, bidding to become the second man to make a major final as a wildcard after Goran Ivanisevic at Wimbledon in 2001, kept pushing in the next set, but he quickly found himself down 1-4 as his more experienced opponent dialled up the intensity.<\/p>\n<p>The vociferous Centre Court crowd rallied \u2060\u2060behind Fery after the 23-year-old appeared to let his frustrations boil over, but they were soon silenced when Zverev unshackled his fiery serve and forehand to tighten his grip on \u2060\u2060the match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know that 99.99 percent of the stadium wanted Arthur to win, but \u2060\u2060it was still such an incredible atmosphere,\u201d Zverev added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was such a fair crowd. I enjoyed every second of it. A lot of stadiums and crowds in the world can take the example of this crowd. It\u2019s one of the best to play tennis in front of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Up two sets to love, \u200c\u200cZverev continued to dominate Fery and breezed through in clinical fashion to ensure he became only the 13th man in the professional era since 1968 to reach all four Grand Slam finals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis Grand Slam\u2019s always been the one I struggle with \u200c\u200cthe \u200c\u200cmost and now all of a sudden, I\u2019m in the final of Wimbledon, so I\u2019m incredibly happy and incredibly proud,\u201d Zverev said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we\u2019ve got one more match to go on Sunday, and that\u2019s where the focus will be.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alexander Zverev will face reigning Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner or seven-times winner Novak \u200bDjokovic in the final.
